LeBron James switching jersey number from 6 back to 23

LeBron James has once again made the decision to change his jersey number.

The Los Angeles Lakers' star will be returning to wearing No. 23

the same number he sported during his first three seasons in Los Angeles.

For the past two seasons, James had donned No. 6.

According to his agent, Rich Paul, the choice of jersey number is entirely up to LeBron

In an interview with ESPN's Dave McMenamin, Paul stated, "It's LeBron's decision."

In August of last year, the NBA announced that it would be retiring the No. 6 jersey

the Lakers in 2018, he initially kept No. 23 before switching to No. 6 in 2021.
