During the company's fourth quarter earnings call on Monday, Elon Musk confirmed that mass production of the Cybertruck won't begin until 2024.

Although Tesla still intends to roll out the first Cybertrucks this summer, the process is expected to be quite slow.

This is due to Tesla's Gigafactory in Austin, Texas, which will be responsible for the production.

The Cybertruck was first unveiled back in 2019, and Tesla initially stated that production would begin in 2021.

This timeline has since been pushed back to 2022, then 2023, and now 2024.

re-order customers, while disappointed that they have to wait even longer, likely weren't surprised by this news.

However, depending on the order in which customers pre-ordered the Cybertruck

there is still a small chance of receiving the vehicle this year. But, given the delays, one should manage their expectations accordingly.
