Disney's highly anticipated live-action remake of The Little Mermaid is already making waves, and it hasn't even hit theaters yet! 

Recently, Disney dropped the first full trailer for the film, and in the first 24 hours of release, 

it generated over 108 million global views. 

This impressive feat makes it one of the most watched trailers for any of Disney's live-action  

remakes, and the biggest since 2019's The Lion King, according to the studio (as reported by THR). 

The trailer made its debut during the Academy Awards on March 12th, and fans around the world are eagerly awaiting the film's release. 

it's worth noting that in 2019, The Lion King's first full trailer generated approximately 130 million views.  

The Little Mermaid's trailer has already surpassed the first full trailer for Aladdin, which was watched 106.5 million times.  

Additionally, the trailer for The Little Mermaid has also surpassed the trailers for other live-action remakes such as
